In support of American Heart Month the Manchester Health Department is sponsoring a “Heart Health Program”. Come join Kathleen Polhemus, Community Health Nurse for this informative lecture as she discusses diseases of the heart, risk factors, treatment and prevention. at the Manchester Senior Center. Description:
Unplug for the night and spend some quality time with family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors while you play board games, provided by the library. Staff member and board game guru Jenn will be on hand to help teach games, but expect to learn some on your own. No need to bring any games, we have lots to share and take home with you afterwards. This is recommended for ages 6 and up and light refreshments will be served. No registration required for this free event. The following is a schedule of meetings to be held by the Manchester Conservation Commission. Meetings take place on Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. in the Directors’ Room, 494 Main Street, Manchester, Connecticut. The Commission does not meet in July or August. MEETING DATES February 19, 2019 March 19, 2019 April 16, 2019 May 21, 2019 June 18, 2019 September 17, 2019 October 15, 2019 November 19, 2019 December 17, 2019 January 21, 2020 The Conservation Commission approved this schedule on November 20, 2018.
