  Registration for Residents for Storytime at the Library
Late Winter Storytime Session - The next storytime session begins the week of February 25th with storytimes for infants, one-year olds, two-year olds and three-to-five year olds. Some groups require registration; please call or see our website for more details. This session will run February 25th – March 30th. Registration for New Comers Lunch at Senior Center
Center Newcomer’s Meeting Description: Newcomers Meeting The next , open to those 60+ and Members will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 20 at 11:00 a.m. in the library. New members will receive introductions to our programs and tour our facility. You must REGISTER with the front office by calling (860) 647-3211 ahead of time so we may properly prepare for your visit. The mobile Food Share will be in the Manchester area on alternate Tuesdays, from 9:00-9:30am. Come early, this is open to the public. Bring a sturdy grocery bag! 2:00pm [2:00pm] Senior Taxpayer Program
This program has been rescheduled to Tuesday, February 19, 2019. There will be a presentation by John Rainaldi, Director of Assessment and Collection at the Senior Center. John will discuss and review the tax assistance programs available to Manchester’s senior citizens. This will include information on the Senior Homeowner’s Program, the HELP Program, Veteran’s Programs and various other programs that are offered to qualifying seniors. Please leave your name and phone number at the senior center front office or call 860-647-3211 so that we may properly prepare for your visit. [2:30pm] Unicorn Party at Whiton Library
Unicorn Party – Tuesday, February 19th, 2019, 2:30pm at Whiton Branch Library. Calling all unicorn lovers – join us for a Unicorn Party! This party is for children eager to play games, like Pin the Horn on the Unicorn, and make unicorn crafts. There will be a shimmery photo opportunity and goodie bags, too! 6:00pm [6:00pm] Family Game Night
Unplug for the night and spend some quality time with family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors while you play board games, provided by the library. Staff member and board game guru Jenn will be on hand to help teach games, but expect to learn some on your own. No need to bring any games, we have lots to share and take home with you afterwards. This is recommended for ages 6 and up and light refreshments will be served. No registration required for this free event. The Mr. Gym Show – Tuesday, February 19th, 2019, 6:30pm at Mary Cheney Library. Chris Keithan, aka Mr. Gym, uses his guitar, vocals and puppets to engage the audience in learning and dancing! The following is a schedule of meetings to be held by the Manchester Conservation Commission. Meetings take place on Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. in the Directors’ Room, 494 Main Street, Manchester, Connecticut. The Commission does not meet in July or August.
