Compassionate Friends Meeting The Compassionate Friends will meet on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Compassionate Friends is a national nonprofit, self-help support organization that offers friendship and understanding to bereaved parents, grandparents and siblings. There is no religious affiliation and there are no membership dues or fees. We extend a special warm welcome to you. We know that it takes courage to come to your first meeting, and invite you to bring a friend or relative. Doors will open at 6:30 pm to welcome new members. Monthly Board of Directors Meetings Manchester Land Conservation Trust Board of Directors usually meets at 7:00 p.m. on the third Thursday of the month, at our office at 20 Hartford Road, at the corner of Main Street and Hartford Road (upstairs from Chamber of Commerce). Board meetings are held nine times per year, in January, February, March, April, June, September, October, November, and December. (The board's May meeting is part of the annual meeting, and the board's December meeting is usually held at a member's home.) The public is invited to attend board meetings. [7:00pm] NAMI Friends & Family Support
The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) support group will hold its regular meeting on the third Thursday of every month. The meeting will be held at the Center Congregational Church, 11 Center Street, Manchester, CT from 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM. The meeting is open to all families and friends of people with mental illness and focuses on sharing experiences and information. All information is held confidentially.
