Deadline for Nominee's for Arts Hall of Fame
The Manchester Arts Commission is reaching out to the community in search of those Individuals, Groups, and a 'Rising Star' to be nominated for the Arts Hall of Fame. Individuals and groups whose actions and mission is to perform, support and/or celebrate the arts, and a "Rising Star" young person (ages 15-25) in the arts, may be nominated. Each year the Commission sets aside an evening to celebrate the "State of the Arts" in our community. This year, the Hall of Fame induction will be held on Thursday evening, June 13th and will be merged with a "State of the Arts" program featuring arts groups and individuals from the community. Nominations for the Hall of Fame need to be submitted by April 30th. Nomination forms can be found on the Commission's website at www.artscommission.townofmanchester.org or to receive a form, contact arts@manchesterct.gov. To ensure that you are invited to the event, share your email address with the Commission at arts@manchesterct.gov, and all arts organizations and artists are invited to upload their information on the Commission's website, Arts Directory page.
