[9:00am] Manchester Land Conservation Trust Tag Sale- Donations Welcome
Description:
Accepting tag sale donations now through June 3 on most Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays to benefit the Manchester Land Conservation Trust and its work to preserve open space lands. Drop donations off at the former cider barn – small items can be placed in the bin to the right of the barn – or contact the tag sale manager, Terry Parla, 860-643-1823. No TVs, encyclopedias, clothing. The actual tag sale runs from Friday, June 7 through Saturday, June 15, 9:00 to 2:00 each day, with 5,000 square feet of books, games, dishes, tools, furniture, near-antiques, etc.

Saturday, (9 a.m. - 4 p.m.) -- Pickleball Tournament at the Nike Site, 225 Garden Grove Rd. Register without a partner and individuals play with everyone in their division. [11:00am] History Walk on Great Lawn
Description:
Home of the Manchester Historical Society. $10.00 for non-members; $7.00 for members; free for children under fifteen years old. Our walk includes the nine acres of Great Lawn purchased by the Town of Manchester in 2005, as well as some private property that we have obtained permission to cross. Susan Barlow and Tom Ferguson will lead the walk and comment on the historic mansions past and present. The 90-minute walk will be held rain or shine, but extreme weather cancels.
