  Starlab Family Program
The fascinating Night Skies program uses Starlab, an inflatable planetarium dome and projector system. Shows are approximately 45 minutes long. Showtimes will be as follows: 10:30am, 11:30am, 1:30pm, 2:30pm, 3:30pm, 5:30pm and the last showtime will be at 6:30pm. This event is recommended for ages 3 and up.

Let’s discuss how to change our perspectives around stress by watching Kelly McGonigal’s talk on 'How to Turn Stress Into an Advantage. At this monthly networking event professionals gather to watch a TED Talk over lunch (BYO), discuss the topic, and then eat cake. Cake and beverages provided. 6:00pm [6:00pm] Adult Summer Reading Kick-off Party
The Manchester Public Library invites you to participate in our 'Universe of Stories' Adult Summer Reading Program from June 18th to August 31st, 2019. To register for this program, fill in and submit a blue Registration slip at the Circulation desk at either Mary Cheney or Whiton Branch libraries. The first 300 people to register will receive a free t-shirt. To win other prizes, fill in a white Title Entry slip for each book you read or listen to, and put it in the designated wooden boxes on display. For each title entry you fill out you may choose between six differently themed Grand Prize packs: Grilling, Family Baking, Theater tickets, Breakfast, Yoga, and Crafts. Photos and full descriptions are on display at both buildings. Winners for the Grand Prizes will be selected the first week in September. Join us for our Adult Summer Reading Kick-off Party on Tuesday June 18thfrom 6-8PM and our Grand Finale Event, Star Wars Fan Fest on Saturday August 17thfrom 10AM-4PM, both at Mary Cheney Library. The following is a schedule of meetings to be held by the Manchester Conservation Commission. Meetings take place on Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. in the Directors’ Room, 494 Main Street, Manchester, Connecticut. The Commission does not meet in July or August. MEETING DATES February 19, 2019 March 19, 2019 April 16, 2019 May 21, 2019 June 18, 2019 September 17, 2019 October 15, 2019 November 19, 2019 December 17, 2019 January 21, 2020 The Conservation Commission approved this schedule on November 20, 2018.
