The next Senior Center Newcomer’s meeting, open to those 60+ and Members will be held on Wednesday, June 19th in the library. New members will receive introductions to our programs and tour our facility. You must REGISTER with the front office by calling (860) 647-3211 ahead of time so we may properly prepare for your visit. If you would like to have lunch with us, please register for lunch on Monday, June 17th or Tues, June 18th by 12:00 Noon. We look forward to your visit!

We run rain or shine. Wednesdays from 6/12/19 through 8/21/19; No market on 7/3/19. Come get your locally grown produce, farm raised eggs and meats, and handcrafted artisanal products. There are many beautiful places to hike in Connecticut and with our relatively mild climate, hiking is a four-season pursuit. Come learn about 50 of the best hikes in Connecticut and some history behind them. Also, learn about the legacy of the 50 Hikes in Connecticut guidebook, first published in 1978, now available in its sixth edition. Presented by Mary Anne Hardy, an educator, and lifelong hiker. She is the daughter of the original authors, and author of the current edition. This is a free program and no registration is required.
