[1:00pm] Honest Conversations with Muslim Neighbors
Honest Conversations with Muslim Neighbors is a collaboration among three organizations in the Greater Hartford area: the Connecticut Council for Interreligious Understanding (CCIU), the Muslim Coalition of Connecticut (MCCT), and Hartford Seminary. Our aim is to promote open and respectful dialogue, foster greater understanding of Islam, and further the commonalities that unite all faith traditions. The Honest Conversations with Muslim Neighbors consists of a small panel of local area Muslims and a non-Muslim moderator. The program invites questions from the audience on various topics related to Islam and Muslims. The panelists, in turn, will share their thoughts and experiences on issues that concern us all. Our hope is that in conversation, we can move towards a more peaceful and tolerant world for all. We welcome you to attend our next
