Description:
An Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support Group will be held at the Manchester Senior Center on the 2nd Wednesday each month. Any caregiver, family, friend or person affected by dementia or Alzheimer’s is welcome to attend. There is no charge. Call Ed Paquette at 860-647-3093 for more information.

REC ON THE RUN is our mobile pop-up creative arts, sports and games vehicle which offers recreation programs and activities across Manchester. The Rec on the Run vehicle and its engaging staff bring recreation and much more to neighborhoods and parks around our community The REC ON THE RUN vehicle can be found across our community during the week and at various special community events July through August. REC ON THE RUN will visit the many locations once per week; Northwest Park, Marcy MacDonald Pool, Spruce Street Market Nights & Waddell Pool. MEET AUTHOR JULIA TANNENBAUM Wednesday, AUGUST 14, 2019 6:30 PM Manchester Public Library 586 Main Street Manchester, CT 06040 Teen author and West Hartford native Julia Tannenbaum will discuss her new novel Changing Ways. Changing Ways is a YA novel about a 16 year old girl's struggle with mental health and the highs and lows of her journey to overcome her disease. The author will talk about how to start writing a book and share the things she has learned while writing her novel. Teens & Adults are welcome. Registration is not required. Questions?
