Description: Author Steven M. Leshin will talk about his inspiration, the history behind the story, and read excerpts from his novel "Vengeance of the Ripper."

Blending history and suspense, the book pits Jack the Ripper against old west legend, Wyatt Earp. The action takes place in Los Angeles, California in the year 1908, twenty years after his murderous rampage in London. The hunt for the Ripper reveals a conspiracy involving an international arms dealer, the crown jewels, and President Theodore Roosevelt (stevenleshinwebstarts.com).
