Description: With Steam Punk fashion, music, art and celebration, Imagine Main Street will conduct its final street festival of the 2018 season on Thursday, September 6, starting at 5:30 p.m.

Five blocks in Downtown Manchester from Beller's Music to Pinewood Furniture and from the Army Navy Club to the Forest Street Parking Lot, will find more than 70 participants including a wide variety of crafters, artisans, exhibitors, volunteer and non-profit groups, and musicians including Frenchy and the Punk, 41 Prospect, The Guinea Pigs, Bill Benson, Time Was, Town Troubadour Bill Ludwig, Never Look Back and Alex Forest.

Steam Punk is a very unique art form that combines the wild west with the Victorian age through fashion, music, and the arts. Given Manchester's industrial heritage and beautiful Victorian houses and history, this eclectic and interesting genre is accepted and wonderfully incorporated into Imagine Main Street.

A Hat contest, with prizes in a variety of categories, and a Beard and Moustache Contest will also be held. Information will be found at the Forest Street lot that evening and on the IMS Facebook page.

Food vendors and other participants will be included in the programming that continues through 8 p.m. ECHN is the corporate sponsor for the event. Other support comes from the Town of Manchester, Fuss & O'Neil and individuals and businesses.

Rain location will be inside the Army Navy Club, with notice given by noon on the day of the event on the Imagine Main Street website, Facebook and Instagram sites.
