Manchester Historical Society Event

Description: The Manchester Historical Society invites everyone to make a pine cone bird feeder, caterpillar, and pin cushion on Sunday, October 14 on the grounds of its Woodbridge farmstead from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. Tour the eighteenth-century barn; collect walnuts from an ancient walnut tree; compete in a sack race; help create a Woodbridge quilt. Suggested donation $2 per person, or $4 per family of four or more. In addition to this craft event, the barn and grounds will continue to be open the second and fourth Sundays of the month through October 28. Location: 495 East Middle Turnpike, near its intersection with Woodbridge Street. Park behind the Senior Center, or along the street that runs between the Senior Center and the farmstead itself.
