Public Information Meeting

Description: The Town of Manchester is holding a public informational meeting to provide abutting property owners and others information on the upcoming Hillstown Road Reconstruction project.

The project includes the full depth road reconstruction of Hillstown Road between Wetherell Street and Bush Hill Road. The project will provide a uniform road width of 26’ and a 6’ wide bituminous concrete multi-use path along the east side of Hillstown Road to provide safe pedestrian/bicycle connectivity between neighborhoods and the Charter Oak Greenway. Other work will include new curbing and storm drainage improvements.

The project is funded through the 2017 Public Works Bond Referendum. Construction is anticipated to begin this summer and take approximately one year to complete.

The meeting will be held on TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 26, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. in the Hearing Room (First Floor) of Lincoln Center
