Getting Started: Itís Never Too Late

Description: The Whiton Branch Library will host Ron Kane, former White House employee under Gerald Ford, race car driver, and New York City Transit Police spokesperson, with his presentation "Getting Started: Itís Never Too LateĒ.

Kane will talk about his 30 years in the public sector and how it influenced him to write about his experience working with the New York City Transit Police in his book Of Crows and Sparrows. This suspenseful thriller is based on an actual case during Kaneís time with the department. He will also talk about how you can never be too old to start a new career.
