Cheney Cinema at Mary Cheney Library

Description: The Manchester Public Library on 586 Main Street will show a drama about contact with other life forms during Cheney Cinema on Thursday, June 6th, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. This movie will kick off a summer of space-related films to coordinate with the library’s “Universe of Stories” space-themed summer reading program.

Due to license restrictions (since admission is free) we cannot release the name of the movie being shown, however it is rated PG-13, and run time is 1 hour and 56 minutes. A linguist is recruited by the U.S. Army to try to communicate with alien life living on Earth before war erupts.
