Concert for Parkinson’s Disease Awareness

Description: Arbors of Hop Brook Life Plan Community will host a benefit concert tribute for Maestro Luiz de Moura Castro with performances by his former students – all now internationally acclaimed pianists in their own right – at its Manchester facility located at 403 West Center Street on Tuesday, July 11.

The special evening will begin with appetizers and cocktails at 6:30 p.m. and followed by performances at 7:30 p.m.

In honor of Maestro Castro, the benefit will include performances by five pianists, all alumni of The Hartt School at the University of Hartford: David Garrido Sid, Tamila Azadaliyeva, Paul Bisaccia, Margarita Nuller and Alex Nakhimovsky. A performance by Maestro Castro will also be included in the evening’s festivities.

Tickets for the evening social hour and performance are $50.00 per person, with all proceeds benefitting the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation. Tickets may be purchased by calling 860-533-2519.
