Beller's Summer Music Concert

Description: The Beller's Music Summer Concert Series, Concerts in Center Park Presents: The Opus Four String Quartet.

The Opus 4 String Quartet was founded under the belief that chamber music, or music played in chambers, is a very valuable learning experience towards becoming a better musician. Founded in May, 2013, the Opus 4 String Quartet gives regular performances at assisted living facilities and has been featured at the Governorís Mansion and the State Capitol. The members of the Quartet are currently high school students and hail from South Windsor and Glastonbury, where they excel academically in addition to their extracurricular interests. The Opus 4 are honored to have been coached and mentored by the award-winning Dover String Quartet. The Opus 4 consist of Percy Chen (1st violin), Taylor Chen (2nd violin), Euann Gu (viola), and Megan Cloutier (violincello)

From mid-July to mid-August, the free concerts sponsored by the DuBaldo family's Beller's Music are in Center Memorial Park, on the shady grounds of Mary Cheney Library. Bring your lawn chair or blanket, some friends and your picnic dinner, or enjoy take-out from any of the Downtown restaurants.
