Cheney Cinema Saturday!

Description: The Manchester Public Library will show a movie about an unlikely alliance between two very different individuals in 19th century Great Britain during Cheney Cinema Saturday.

Due to license restrictions (since admission is free) we cannot release the name of the movie being shown, however it is rated PG-13, and run time is 1 hour and 52 minutes. Based on a true story, a clerk from India arrives in England to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of a famous long-reigning British Queen. The two develop a friendship that the Queen’s household attempts to destroy and aims to ruin the Queen’s reputation.
